Life REALLY happens when we're busy making other plans!

It’s been a minute! I’ve been so busy building my brand that I hardly have time to sit down and drink hot coffee, yes hot coffee! When you are an entrepreneur, coffee addiction is a norm, but often you end up drinking one cup over 30 minutes.

You all know the story of me moving from PA to PR (From PA to PR: My journey to self-fulfillment and actualisation), and I must admit things have drastically changed once I entered the world of PR. Don’t get me wrong, I am loving the new challenges but I find myself asking the question “How did I get here?” at least 10 times a day. I had so many plans for my PR & Brand Company, and I never thought that I would end up managing other people’s careers. I suppose it is part of Brand Management, yet the term had always been Artist Management. I wanted to change people’s perception of PR as it is often seen as just an events company. Yes, most PR companies do offer event planning but this often overshadows the brand management aspect, hence they get labelled as such in the long term. I wanted to change this and show South Africa that PR Agents are the success behind it all, LOL. A girl can dream, right? Little did I know that I would meet so many people of all walks of life on this journey. I met people that I never knew could have an impact on my career, but I did.

Personal Assistance is still something that will always be part of who I am, it is after all the career that led me to Public Relations. We still offer this service at Virtually OnTrend (services) but now only to individuals, public figures and celebrities. I, on the other hand can’t remember the last time I had the chance to be just an assistant. Now I am responsible for people’s reputations and their brands!!! How did this happen?

Life happens when we busy making other plans for sure. All the plans I had for my entrepreneurial journey changed, and for the better I might add. So, never make plans, rather live your journey to the fullest, our lives have been written already, we just need to live it.
